by Brittany H

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth... Your kingdom come. Your will be done as in heaven, so also upon earth. King James Bible They Kingdom come. They will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

"All I have is yours, Lord. Help me to live according to your rules." (PrayerandPossibilities.com)

Kingdom Prayer: Touching Heaven to Change Earth - What does it mean to pray "Thy Will Be Done?" Ending one's prayer by saying, "Thy will, not mine, be done" the believer acknowledges God's freedom, God's responsibility and natural being like people who kiss the picture of a loved one.

What it means to pray "Thy will be done." How will His kingdom come? It will come in the lives of those who do God's will: "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Therefore we ask that God will provide what we need, that he will forgive our sins, and that he will deliver us from evil. God is a great and glorious King!

Ask God to have his will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. What is the gospel of the Kingdom of God? The gospel is a kingdom, is the message of salvation proclaiming Christ was born, crucified and resurrected for the salvation of man from sin. When Philip the evangelist preached "the good news about the kingdom of God" men and women believed and were baptized.

How do you pray that God's will be done? Father, we thank you that our Savior knows the intensity of our struggle when your will conflicts with our desires. Give us strength to believe your promises, embrace your commands and bare the burdens (our cross) you call us to carry. We pray that you will help us do your revealed will fully, Godly and immediately.
